Road Constructed within a Night

It is a common practice in & around this area that the local governance is captured by some corrupted politicians & officers. Within this illegal practice lakhs of Rupees has been exploited in the name of different development projects. One Youth activist of Karamanga village who has been trained by our RTI training applied to the concerned PIO of the Konark NAC to know information regarding the actions taken for construction of the village road near this village within ward –4 of this NAC. In effect of this application on the next night the NAC authority constructed the road overnight . Then the reality came open that lakhs of rupees has been released for this road but it has been taken by the Contractor & officers. Now after getting this information through a vigilance case is continuing on the same.
